[K]umquat Festival Pasco County is back again. On the eastern side of Pasco County on January 30, 2016. Always the last Saturday of January, the festival runs from 9 am to 5 pm in downtown Dade City.  You can reach Dade City by heading east of SR 52.

Kumquat Festival Pasco County has become very popular. Visitors can listen to local entertainment, get their face painted, look at antique cars, and shop for arts and crafts, a farmers market, Kumquat Kids Corral, and a quilt challenge.

Admission is FREE, transportation from the satellite parking areas is FREE, city owned public parking downtown is FREE.

Kumquat Festival Schedule: The first Saturday of January, the Chamber of Commerce kicks off Festival month with the “Dade City Cruise-in” featuring hundreds of cool cars, thousands of attendees, great food and Downtown Dade City shopping.

The third Saturday of January features the Miss & Mr. Kumquat Pageant, an event for ages 2-18 with categories of Wee Miss & Mr., Tiny Miss & Mr., Little Miss & Mr., Junior Miss & Mr., Teen Miss & Mr. and Miss & Mr. Kumquat, and ends with the crowning of Mr. & Miss Kumquat.

During the week of the Festival, Kumquat Growers host an Open House (Thursday and Friday prior to the festival) with grove and packing house tours check with the kumquat growers for times and more information).
