Pasco Property Taxes Online Payment
In Florida, Property Taxes are due prior to April 1 and become delinquent on that date. After which, for property taxes, a 3% interest charge is added to the gross amount. Within 45 days, delinquent Real Estate taxes will be advertised in a local newspaper and the cost of the advertising will be added to the tax bill.
You can pay your property taxes online with a small fee charged by the third-party vendor (point and pay inc.): Pasco County does not keep any part of the fee; nor do they add any fees for online payment. The third-party vendor charges 2.5% of the total tax paid.
Paying your taxes early earns you a 2% discount in January; payment in February gets you a 1% discount. In March, you will pay the full bill.
In order to pay your taxes online; go to the county website; put in the address of the property you are paying taxes on, and follow the online payment instructions. The phone number for New Port Richey property tax info is 727-847-8032.
It’s fairly easy to do and if you can’t get there during normal business hours, it can save you stress.
