Blue For Autism Awareness

Blue for Autism Awareness for the month of April.

Blue For Autism AwarenessA news report released recently stated that 1 in 68 U.S. children is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The organization Autism Speaks asks you to light up blue for the month of April. Use a blue light bulb for the exterior of your home, bake blue cookies, light up an entire building in blue, or simply wear a blue outfit, or shirt. Autism Speaks can be viewed here on their website. Or take a look at the Facebook page here.

Blue For Autism Awareness

Autism seems to be growing by leaps and bounds, and there are many schools and Go Blue For Autism Awarenessprograms to help with the various manifestations.  Autism Speaks and many other organizations are engaged in research to help find the causes and the cures. You can help by joining a local organization, supporting schools that work with autistic children, and volunteering.

Show support; it can be as simple as a blue light bulb in your outdoor light.

Our car club (AACA-Richey Region) holds a car show every year called Autos for Autism; this is a successful event. We get many calls from people who want to be involved because their niece/nephew/son/daughter has autism. Please help support the autism organization of your choice.
